KSA: rebrand
01 About the Project
From Spring 2019 to Fall 2019 I played a role as Social Media Chair for the University of Pittsburgh's Korean Student Association. My primary task was to create a t-shirt and all promotional materials (digital and print).
After transferring schools in 2022, I decided to revisit this project and conduct a low-scale rebranding for the club.
Goals:
Design a logo that better represents KSA and their goals
Stylize the shirt I made in 2019 in a zine
Create fun promotional stickers using the logo I designed
02 Logo
The new logo features a white tiger (백호), an important symbol in Korean mythology. It's minimal with strong contrast, which allows it to be recognizable at all sizes. The tiger stripes are an homage to the bars (괘) on the flag of South Korea (태극기).
